This tasty kale salad is very healthy as it boosts the thyroid function. Kale is rich in vitamin A which is known to be very important for thyroid health. You can also add other healthy ingredients and improve the thyroid function naturally.

Kale Energy Salad for Thyroid

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoon honey
  • 1 bunch of chopped kale
  • 1 avocado, cut into cubes
  • 1 teaspoon celtic sea salt
  • 1 1/2 lemon juice
  • 1/2-1 tablespoon kelp flakes
  • 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/4 cup peeled carrot
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup roasted sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Blend the honey, olive oil, lemon, tahini and salt.
  2. Pour the tahini dressing over kale, kelp flakes and carrots. Wait for at least an hour. Then add the sunflower seeds, raisins and avocado.

Note:

The salad can be kept in the fridge overnight. The kale will become softer and break down due to the lemon juice.
