Sour cherry is a fruit that belongs to the group of super –healthy foods. This fruit is rich in vitamins A, C, E and folic acid, magnesium, iron and fibers so that we can consume it in unlimited amounts.
Sour cherries are an excellent source of vitamins and minerals and are beneficial for the entire body. The main pigment is red anthocyanin that this fruit contains more than blackberries, strawberries and gooseberries, it contains beta carotene, 19 times more than blueberries and strawberries, contains melatonin – an antioxidant which is one of the most important regulators of heart rate and aging .

It can also accelerate the healing process after surgery , to reduce inflammations, it protects the nervous system, prevents cancer, particularly colon cancer, against insomnia, against menopausal symptoms etc.
Raw sour cherries help in reducing weight, and a handful of cherries after exercising will remove the feeling of heaviness in the muscles. Sour cherries can be consumed fresh, frozen or dried.

In enamel bowl put a spoonful of crushed dried leaves of sour cherries and a spoonful of dried flowers of St. John’s wort .Pour them with three hot cups of beer.
Put the bowl on the stove and boil it, then lower the temperature and continue with cooking for another 30-40 minutes. When finish, remove it from fire.
When cool, strain it through strainer or double thick gauze. Drink two tablespoons of this tea three times daily after meals. The last dose should be consumed before bedtime. The treatment lasts 1-2 months. This tea has a beneficial effect on the damaged liver.
TEA AGAINST HEPATITIS A
And this tea is prepared from dried sour cherry leaves. Take 10 dry leaves and finely chop them. Place them in an enamel bowl, along with 300 ml of water and boil them on a low temperature for 30 minutes. When cool, strain and consume ¼ cup ,three times a day.
