Kidneys have a very important function in our body. They’re located against the back muscles in the upper abdominal area the kidneys obtain blood from the paired renal arteries and further flow into the paired renal veins. Both kidneys discharge urine in the ureter after which, it empties into the bladder.
These organs help in cleaning the blood of toxins which are removed from the organism with urination. Kidneys also help in regulating blood pressure, electrolyte balance and red blood cell formation.
Salt and toxins accumulate in the kidneys and that’s why kidney stones may occur. What you need to do is to get rid of these deposits to avoid some serious problems which can be the cause of kidney failure, if not treated.
In this article you will find out how to cleanse your kidneys naturally
- A handful of parsley or coriander leaves
How to prepare it:
After chopping the parsley or coriander in large pieces, put them in a container and pour water over them (enough to cover the leaves).
The parsley/ coriander leaves should be boiled for 10 minutes.
After removing it from heat, wait until it cools.
Then, after straining the mixture, keep it in the fridge. Consume it cold, one cup every day.
Note: Tea can be made as well. Everything is same; you just need to boil the mixture for about 30 min.
After a while, if you consume it regularly, your urine color will change from dark yellow to straw amber. This change is due to toxin elimination that was absorbed by the kidneys.
It is also recommendable to drink plenty of water during the day to keep your kidneys healthy.
Apples, watermelons and lemons together with the parsley are all known as kidney cleansers. On the other hand, olive oil helps in removing kidney stones.
As part of regular detoxification, It is recommended to consume this tea twice a month.
